Background:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Arizona, Master of Education in Early Childhood Leadership from Bank Street College of Education, and Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Post-graduate training includes Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Mandala Assessment Research Instrument (MARI), and family play therapy.
Approach:
Using a solution-focused, holistic, and relational approach, I work with individuals (including children and adolescents), couples and families to cultivate resilience and optimize well-being. From a developmental perspective, I collaborate with clients to identify and integrate experiences, beliefs, and ways of being that adversely impact functioning and relationships. Sessions include experiential and somatic techniques to anchor our work and establish a safe foundation from which to explore and create new possibilities.
