Background
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received my master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Drexel University. My training focuses on centering social justice and cultural curiosity in therapy to best serve the individuals and families who I see. I am currently receiving training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) and work with families struggling with significant emotional or behavioral problems.
Approach
I believe that having an authentic connection with a therapist can be a healing experience for individuals, couples and families. I like to work collaboratively to create goals that are meaningful in my clients lives. I will meet you where you are and create a strong therapeutic relationship in order to best support you and push you further towards your goals.
Each individual, couple, or family has a unique set of needs and I value a therapeutic environment that helps clients feel safe, understood and honored. I have worked with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, in addition to dealing with self-harm, eating disorders, immigration issues, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, divorce and high-conflict relationships.
